Wyre Forest School - Week 43

Activity/Observations

 Timber frame erection is continuing.
 Window and door fitting is continuing as areas are complete.
 Fitting of bitroc sheathing board is continuing external walls.
 Electrical containment is ongoing.
 Internal boarding to walls and ceilings are continuing.
 Fitting of floor insulation between floor joist and partitions is continuing plus warm cell to external walls.
 Acoustic separating floor system continuing (screed board floors).
 Fitting of vertical slabs to the perimeter of the floor slab is to be completed.
 Roof membrane and counter batten fixing is continuing.
 Roof tiling is continuing.
 Fitting of lead valleys are progressing.
 Fitting of air tightness membranes are continuing.
 Scaffold erection is continuing as required.
 Fitting of cedar fascias and barge boards are continuing.


So what's next?
 Continue scaffold erection, timber frame erection, fitting of bitroc sheathing boards, window fitting and battening, roof membranes and counter battening, vertical slabs to floor slab, airtightness membranes, roof coverings, internal wall boarding, acoustic floor.



Progress on the Primary wing

The Sports Hall glulam portals are lowered into place

The final wing begins to be erected



The dining hall, airtightness membranes being installed.

The final wing, in the primary section, being put up.

The atrium is nearly fully enclosed
