Planning Drawings now online



Planning Drawings and Design and Access Statement

The Planning Submission for the integrated Habberley learning Campus was made towards the end of May 2012. The drawings show the design of the proposed buildings to be added to the site as well as the landscaping masterplan. The proposed buildings and facilities involved in the application include: 

  • The new  Wyre Forest School - A special needs school for 220 pupils ages 3-18.
  • Early Years Hub building - for use by St. John's Primary and Wyre Forest School
  • Weekly Boarding Unit for use by 16 pupils from the Wyre Forest School. 
  • New Science Block containing 12 laboratories for use by Baxter College and Wyre Forest School.
  • Refurbishment of an existing building to provide a Vocational learning hub for use by Baxter College and Wyre Forest School.
  • A floodlit artificial grass pitch for use by the schools and for public hire.
  • A new campus square at the heart of the site 

Planning permission has already been received for the following works subject to an earlier separate application:
  • A new classroom extension for St. John's CE Primary including the remodelling to enlarge 3 classrooms.
  • The moving of mobiles within the Baxter College site on a temporary basis to create space for the Special School
  • Demolition of the disused ROSLA block at Baxter College  and the provision of a new fenced multi-use games area .
