Work starts on the Vocational Hub

Work has begun on the Vocational Hub, formerly E Block of Baxter College. The classrooms are being converted mainly for use by Wyre Forest School for vocational subjects, particularly for 6th formers, to study Food Technology/ Catering, Crafts, Art and DT. There will also be a cafe area with a servery accessed from Campus Square. Once Jack and Jill Nusery have moved to their new home in the Early Years Hub in February, a second phase of works in this block will convert their room to a Workshop where basic vehicle maintenance and other skills can be taught.
