Works start on site: week one

Tree protection with scaffold poles

What's been happening on site this week?

Speller Metcalfe Ltd began work on site this week with their preparations for the major components of the project. This included forming a  haulage road through the site leading from the entrance to the location of the science block, which is to be built for the joint use of Baxter College and Wyre Forest School.

Also this week scaffolding has been erected as protection around trees on the site, and trial pits excavated prior to levelling the site and preparing foundations.

A newsletter has been delivered to residents living nearest the site.
