Progress on site - Week 11

Wyre Forest School

 Continuing to lay below ground drainage.
 Concreting of retaining wall / floor slab is continuing and preparation for floor slab pours are continuing.
 Steel reinforcing fixing to retaining wall of south wing is in progress.
 Shuttering, damp proof membrane. is in progress to east wing.
 Excavation to hydrotherapy pool has been carried out and base is blinded with concrete.
 Excavations to lift pit and trampoline pit are almost complete.

Science Block

 Excavation and concreting of foundations, include timber formwork to contain top of pour is continuing approx 65% complete.
 Below slab foul drains continuing to be laid, ahead of localised concrete foundation pours and water test is in progress.


Weekly Boarding Unit

Complete stone regarding/compaction + sand blind ready for the ground floor slab
 Set up perimeter formwork
 Lay floor insulation and damp proof membrane
 Assemble steel fabric reinforcement ready to pour concrete

Latest progress:

Science Block
 Excavation and concreting of foundations, include timber formwork to contain top of pour is continuing approx 40% complete.
 Below slab foul drains continuing, ahead of localised concrete foundation pours and water test is in progress.

Wyre Forest School
 Continue below ground drainage.
 Concreting of retaining wall / floor slab has started and preparation for floor slab pours is continuing.
 Excavation of soak away 2 is complete, granular base laid, geo textile wrap in place and placing of geo textile cellular units have started.

Substructure to slab
 Install below slab drainage runs to completion – concrete bed + surround – water tested
 All service ducts now installed
 Commence grading and blinding
 Gabion foundations in for sprinkler tank area

What's happening on site? - week 9

Wyre Forest School:
 Continue installing below ground drainage
 Reduced levels completed
 Form retaining wall base, set up formwork/steel reinforcement, insulation, DPM membrane, etc to south of school.

Artificial Grass Sports pitch
 Excavated structural fill removed to the to the all weather pitch to make up levels.
 Landscape fill to ongoing terrace landscape area mainly to south and west.

 Excavate for below slab drainage runs and sprinkler supply
 Install below slab drainage runs – concrete bed + surround
 Sprinkler supply installed
 Gabion foundations in for sprinkler tank and pump house

Science Block
 Excavations for foundations, include timber formwork to contain top of pour
 Vertical insulation to foundation edge positioned prior and during pour
 Commence below slab foul drains, ahead of localised concrete foundation pours
